As some of you may remember, I was part of a boxed set entitled LOVE UNDER FIRE. The romantic suspense set featured 21 stories by bestselling authors. A portion of the proceeds were to be donated to the PETS FOR VETS program. A program that pairs shelter pets with veterans. This past weekend, one of the authors, Kathryn Knight, presented a check in the amount of $1,725 to the PETS FOR VETS chapter in Portland Maine. Soon, another author in the group will present a check for the same amount to the group in Washington DC.
It was such an honor for me to be a part of this fabulous group of authors and project.
