Upcoming events!

I, like many others, am ready to get rid of this snow and move on to warmer and sunnier pastures. Though, with the amount of snow we had this year we had a great snowmobile season – no complaints about that part of winter. But, the cold finally got to me and I’m ready to bring on the Spring activities which for me means the hiking, fishing, and BOOK EVENT season is about to start. The hubby and I have begun what we call ‘practice walking’ for our upcoming trip to Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Zion and Joshua Tree national parks.  Here’s some pictures of some of our past hiking and fishing trips:

I’ve also begun to prepare for upcoming book events.

On April 12th I’ll be doing a workshop for Write on Door County at their WRITING ON THE DOOR: Paths to Publication Conference.  I’ll be talking about writing your first draft fast and how to carve out tome to write, no matter what, to finish your book.  We’ll talk about increasing productivity and staying the course.  I will also be sitting on a panel with four other authors to discuss, and field questions, in regard to our paths for publication.

It’s not too late to sign up for the conference! Just click here!

On April 27th from 4:00 to 5:00 I’ll be hosting ‘Romance Bingo’ with three other romance authors.  I invite you Join me, NYTimes bestselling author Stacey Joy Netzel, USA Today bestselling author PJ Fiala, and Steven Mitchell for a fun hour of bingo filled with books and prizes.

On April 28th I’ll be sitting on a panel with three other romance authors and we’ll be talking about ‘Writing Romance in the 21st Century.’

Romance writing can be a tricky enough subject to conquer, let alone having to adapt to the changing market. Join this talented group of writers to learn all about romance writing in the 21st century.

I will also be taking part in a book signing event on Saturday, the 27th from noon until 3:00!
