Does this ever happen to you when you’re writing your books?
I’m a bit embarrassed to admit it but it happens to me all the time. But think about it…we tend to write about the most perfectly flawed characters we dare to imagine.
As long as I’m confessing…I’m not monogamous. There, I said it. I switch my love interest with each new book I write.
Authors, take a minute to tell us whether or not you develop fictional character crushes when you write. If so, tell us who you are in love with now, which of your books he/she is from, and give us a short book blurb and link to buy.
Readers, tell us about a fictional character who turns you on!
Hi Valerie! I’m so sorry it’s been so long since I stopped by. I’m still juggling too many things at once.
Well, you already know Ranger sets my heart all a-flutter. No link necessary as I believe everyone in the world is in one camp or the other – Ranger vs Morelli. 😉
And Spinelli is pretty hot, too. (Yes, I’m sucking up, but I really mean it!)
I also love your new header! And I’m impressed that you have three works in progress!
It’s so nice to hear from your, Maddie. Thanks for the plug about Spinelli, he’s such a fun character to write about.
As for Ranger and Morelli, I lean a bit toward Morelli, which works out nice for us…we won’t have to fight over them:)
Maybe I just have a thing for Italian men: Spinelli, Morelli, Clarizio
I fell in love with Gatsby, both on the page and on the screen (Robert Redford version) .I relish a good love story. The desire Gatsby had for Daisy is every woman’s fantasy. It ends tragically, but it always stayed with me.
Gatsby, excellent choice, and of course who doesn’t love the great Robert Redford. I’ve hear that Leonardo DiCaprio pulls it off as well. I’ll have to check that out.
